Production of the solution flux FI-1 (TU 2152-009-27311679-2007) was developed and launched in December 2007.
The use of the solution flux FI-1 when hot-dip galvanizing allows to get a higher quality (solid) with the best adhesion to the base metal zinc coating that is achieved through:
– the formation of local reducing atmosphere at the entrance of the wire into molten zinc;
– improve wettability of steel by molten zinc.
The use of the solution flux FI-1 allows to simplify the operation of adjusting the concentration in the bath glosowanie, to eliminate unwanted hydrolysis of zinc salts during storage, which is especially important in the dissolution of the zinc salts in the bath glosowanie.
The use of the flux FI-1 allows to maintain a stable value of the acidity in the fluxing bath, which reduces the formation ferrum-zinc alloy (hartsink).
